First time

Had dinner with Yan Shan last night. hahah, managed to fork out time to meet up with her =) Had a great time with her and i hope we can meet up more often and not just twice a year on our birthday! hahah..

Just wanna thank God for today, for the time that i get to spend at home with my mom. heh. also thank God for how she has been taking care of me the past few days. her tender care- ensuring that i'm in good health, accompany me to the doctor when i'm unwell, washing my dishes when i leave it on the table to take my medicines (she did it without me knowing, lol, cos i intended to wash it together after i'm done with taking the medicines), doing so many things for me without complaining, and telling me to wake her up if i'm in pain at night. so many, so many things in which i'm so thankful and feel so blessed! God is so good, to give me a mom like her. hahah.. thank God for teaching me to love my parents over the years and i truly appreciate them for what they have given me.

anyway, it was kind of an interesting experience. hahah.. it is my first time baking a cake for my mom, FIRST time doing something on her birthday. hee..it was kind of awkward initially, when i first wake up in the morning and asked her if she need me to help her buy anything. this is something in which i have never done before - taking the initiative to help my mom run an errand. lol. and she gave me an awkward look. hahaha.. after running an errand for her, i proceed to do my baking. having fun in the kitchen by myself. haa.. then waited for night to arrive for my whole family to be at home. the most awkward part is presenting the cake to my mom. her first reponse to me was, 'siao'. LOL. and i gather my brothers and dad to take photos. super paiseh, but thank God that can see that my mom was happy. just that it was so, so awkward. heehee and i know i always do crazy stuff. lol. there's always a first time to everything!
