"For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also."
James 2:26 (NKJV)
This was the verse that I cling unto as I took that courage and step of faith to do what I needed to do on 28th October 2015. Not sure what will the outcome be like but I'm trusting God for His leading. No matter what happened, I will still praise Him because He makes all things happened for a reason and a good purpose. Thank God for the perfect peace that He has given me. As long as God is glorified through my life, I'm willing to go wherever He called me to go.
Seeking His Kingdom first and may His Will be done,

No time to waste
Was reflecting upon my life and realised that this year has been quite a down moment for me. From November last year to September this year. Wow, it's about a year! Thank God for the breakthrough that He has given me. Finally, depression is gone. God has been speaking to me about His second coming. I'm excited and at the same time, scared. Excited because I can get to meet my Saviour face to face finally! Scared because I do not know what will happen to all my loved ones.. The urgency grew heavier each passing day. Thank God for this wake up call. Time is indeed running out and I should not waste anymore time!! Each moment is so precious to point someone to Jesus!! If I'm only left with three more years to live, I hope I can really live it to the fullest and chiong all the way! Trusting God to lead me to His harvest field and win the lost for Him.
"mai tu liao!!" (Don't drag anymore)
Lord, help me to run this last lap for You.
Your Kingdom come, Your Will be done.

Journey to Recovery
On hiatus for awhile because I was trying out Dayre. Seems like here is still the best :) Anyway, here's a little update about my life currently and I shall be more open about it...
"God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble."
Psalm 46:1 (NIV)
Clinging unto this verse because the Lord truly grant me the strength needed. Was undergoing through a season of depression. There were nights that I couldn't sleep. Thoughts of dying kept running through my mind. All these will only happen at night. There were million of thoughts that kept racing in my puny mind. It was really exhausting. I felt like there's no more purpose in life. Negative thoughts just kept flooding me and there will be nights that I walked home crying. I appeared really normal during the day. I know I needed to be surrounded by people before I allow myself to do anything foolish. I didn't really dare to share with anyone about whatever that I was feeling because I felt that they wouldn't understand or they wouldn't believe me anyway.
The breakthrough finally came when I cried out to God for help. I forced myself to read His Word daily no matter how dry I felt. There were days it felt like sawdust and I couldn't absorb anything. However, God is really good to me. The healing started when every verses that I read spoke to me and pierced right through my heart. It's as though God was talking to me and assuring me that He knows exactly what's upon my heart.
I know I'm still on this journey to recovery and Jesus is by my side. It takes time but I know God is my strength and refuge. Thank God, I'm much better now :)

Have faith, trust God
"How long more must I wait?" Came my silence cries to the Lord every night.
I'm really looking forward to the day where there will be no more tears nor sorrow. Trusting God to pull me out of this depressing state and clinging on to the hope that He makes all things beautiful in His time.
Healing takes time.

Seeking His Kingdom first
Super bless by the preaching by Pastor Jeremy Seaward last Sunday. A message of revival- short and concise and hit straight to the heart. Thank God for speaking to me the past few days. The battles that I had to fight against few weeks back was no joke. Struggles are real but I'm thankful for every trials that God has seen me through. He makes me stronger at the end of each testing. Last night bible study also point me back to seeking God's presence daily.
My takeaway for these few days:
1. Don't stop sharing the Gospel
2. Don't stop loving the people that God has placed in my life currently
Dearest Father in Heaven,
May I continue to seek Your presence daily. Your glory is all that I ever want and seek. Help me to run this race in light of eternity, always seeking Your Kingdom first. May I never stop sharing the Gospel. Amen.

"For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes" Romans 1:16 (NIV)
Thank God it's GOOD FRIDAY!! :D
We had an awesome day yesterday at the zoo organised by MADCOW, LoveAid and 3:16 for the precious little ones! Praise God for the most prefect weather ever! It was so amazing and really thank God for all the hard works that everyone had put in. SUPER TIRING but super WORTH IT!
Shall share on one of the highlights that I gained from this event.
So, Jerm and I were tasked to share the Gospel to the kids at our station. Our initial plan was, Jerm will share with the first group and I will share with the next group that arrive. However, when the next group came, I chickened out. NO JOKE. To be honest, I was really fearful when I saw so many kids and was worried that I may not be able to connect with them. So, I was like begging him to take on the next group. In the midst of his sharing with the next group, another group of kids came and that was when I knew that I really had to take the steps of faith to trust God to see me through the Gospel sharing.
I started by asking the kids what do they think Good Friday is all about. One of the kids excitedly replied, "I know, I know! Good Friday is good because it's a public holiday and we get to come out and play!!"
All the adults burst out laughing when we heard that innocence answer. HAHAHA.
I took a deep breath and started sharing as simply as I could to help the kids understand the love of Jesus. When I give out the invitation, it was so heart-warming to see so many hands raised to want to receive Jesus into their hearts! I was deeply humbled indeed. Truly, it's not by my own strength but by the Spirit of God to work in their hearts! My job is to simply trust God to use me to deliver the message to them.
Truly, there is no better ways to celebrate the crucifixion of Christ than to being able to proclaim the Gospel to the precious little ones! :) Thank God for this privilege and it was the best way of remembering what Jesus has done for all of us on the Cross. To God be the glory!!
Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these." ~Matthew 19:14 (NIV) ~
Let all that you do be done in love,

His Timely Truth
14 Make every effort to live in peace with everyone and to be holy; without holiness no one will see the Lord. 15 See to it that no one falls short of the grace of God and that no bitter root grows up to cause trouble and defile many. 16 See that no one is sexually immoral, or is godless like Esau, who for a single meal sold his inheritance rights as the oldest son. 17 Afterward, as you know, when he wanted to inherit this blessing, he was rejected. Even though he sought the blessing with tears, he could not change what he had done.
Hebrews 12: 14-17 (NIV)
Thank God for His timely truth that I can apply immediately. Oh how great and wonderful is my Abba Father in Heaven! He cares and He is so good to me! I am so touched by His great and unfailing love towards me :') His protection is so real. I feel so loved through every divine appointments that He had planned for me :')

Commit Your way to the Lord
Shortly after I get back to blogging, a series of event happened. Can't imagine if I were to pen down my thought the past weeks. It would be so filled with bitterness, darkness, etc. It has been quite a depressing week for me. One after another. The hurt was clearly evidently. Nonetheless, I'm thankful to God for seeing me through it all and His protection upon me.
Commit your way to the Lord;
trust in him, and he will act.
Psalms 37:5 (ESV)
That was the verse that I cling unto so dearly this month. In everything, commit it to the Lord. No matter what areas of my life, give it all to God. Keep trusting in Him and He will act upon it. That is how sweet our God is, ain't it? We just need to rest upon Him for Him to act.
Jesus,
every hurts, every disappointment,
I'm committing them unto You.
Thank You that You are always good,
even when there is nothing good in me.
Your love is everlasting, You are always faithful.
Help me to keep up the good fight,
keep up the faith in You.
Flood my heart full of Your love;
to love the people around me because they are precious in Your eyes.
Commit your way to the Lord;
trust in him, and he will act.

A new beginning!
After being on hiatus on this blog for five years, I've decided to get back to blogging here once again! Felt that this year is gonna be an exciting year as it is so clearly revealed to me that this year is gonna be a year of preparation for me! Thank God for every open doors given to me. Be it in serving or growing deep in His Word. I know and trust that His plan is perfect. Till here for now and stay tune to the many happenings in my life because God is so good :)
For the LORD is good; his steadfast love endures forever, and his faithfulness to all generations.
Psalm 100:5 (ESV)
